There are few restaurants in Portugal that carry the weight of Cervejaria Ramiro. Open since 1956, it has spent nearly seven decades earning its status as an institution: a sprawling, high-ceilinged cervejaria in Intendente where three generations of Lisboetas have gathered to eat some of the finest seafood in the country. Gambas, percebes, sapateira, and a legendary prego to finish — the ritual is practically sacred.
When Ramiro approached Gandaia to design their new staff uniforms, it wasn’t a decision made lightly. For a restaurant of this stature and history, changing something as visible as what the team wears every day is a statement. They wanted to move deliberately and confidently towards something more modern and more playful, without losing the sense of pride and identity that has defined them for decades.
The result is a uniform that respects where Ramiro comes from while opening a new chapter in how they present themselves to the world.
