Tucked into the streets of Alfama, O Velho Eurico has become one of Lisbon’s most talked-about neighbourhood restaurants — a place that manages to feel both deeply rooted in Portuguese tradition and entirely of the moment. Named after its long-standing original owner, the restaurant was taken over by a new generation with a clear intention: to honour the soul of a local tasco while injecting it with a creative energy that has since made it a cult address for Lisboetas and visitors alike.
It was precisely this rare combination of roots and relevance that made O Velho Eurico a natural fit for Gandaia. When the opportunity came to collaborate, it felt natural. Both brands are Lisbon-born, independently run, and built on the belief that quality and character aren’t things you compromise on. The result was a capsule collection: a graphic t-shirt and an embroidered overshirt, designed with the same attention to craft that goes into everything we make.
Beyond the capsule, we also designed the restaurant’s staff uniforms — a quieter but equally meaningful part of the collaboration, one that lives in the space every day.
